The joy of Sarah, Isaac

I am thinking of Sarah, what a joy she must have experienced when she held her baby after years on being barren.   When you are barren, it’s like God has forgotten about you, you are in total shame and disgrace and in pain that no one see but only you can feel. When barren you are in isolation, like in the wilderness but God is faithful even during our sorrow, God is faithful and authentic. The joy of holding Isaac in her arms. See, God promised her this baby, that the seed of Abraham will flourish on her and she will harvest a son. God’s promises are never in vain, He is not a son of man that He should change and lie on thing s He has said.  Isaac means laughter, happiness, joy and being merry. The mercies of God when He gave her a child, she was filled with joy and wonder, God’s favor.

When barren, fertile people laugh, they mock, and belittle you, yes the Ishmaels around you barren woman. Let me speak to Ishmael, Ishmael do not mock Isaac. Hagar & Ishmael do not persecute and maltreat Sarah and Isaac. Hagar & Ismael be careful do not behave badly.  Do not mock, do not challenge and provoke God, God will send you away lest he corrupt the seed of Abraham and take the rights of Isaacs. Ishmael was outside the covenant of God.

Psalm 16:11 devotion

You Lord, reveal the path of Life to me. I am devoted to you. I know that in Your presence there is fullness of joy

All pleasures that satisfy are by Your side Lord,

Allow me Lord to walk by Your side,

Tolerate my clumsiness Lord and permit me by Your side

Let me dwell in Your presence

So I can experience Your Joy.

My prayer today and forever more,

Thank you for this day, show me the path of life, path that leads to You,

I want your joy that satisfy my hearts cravings,

You are the Source of joy,

Allow me to enter your presence and

 also say yes when I walk by your side,  and when I walk astray use your mighty hand, bring me back to You

A joyful heart is good remedy, a soothing balm , a cure

A joyful heart is good remedy, a soothing balm , a cure

James 1:2 God help me to count it all joy when I experience trials in life. Teach me to be joyful when I face troubles, dilemmas in life.  But I am confused and not sure how this type of joy feels like, feeling joy while in pain. Holy Spirit help me, teach me please, I rely on you when comes to these matters.  What is the feeling of joy when you are feeling pain and everything is against you?

I am thinking this kind of joy is being patient with our pains, this pain is training us to be a better person in character. What an exercise? Lord teach me to pray, and not to pray the pain away but to persevere and allow this pain process to run through until the works of the Lord are accomplished.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience kindness, goodness faithfulness Galatians 5:22

Rejoice always, this is a day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Holy Spirit feel me and flood me with the Lord joy, let me draw strength from you Spirit of Heaven. I am learning to rejoice in pain, with your help Lord I will mature at this kind of joy. In Christ Jesus Amen!

 

 

My Joy, My Jesus Christ and My Journey

 

 

Sometimes it’s difficult and a challenge to find joy that is in me even though I know it’s there in my heart of hearts. Occasionally I don’t feel like being upbeat and happy, but I am content and grateful that I am blessed by God. I appreciate and grateful to Him. I pray that God doesn’t give up in loving me, I appeal that He loves with His all and teach me to love like Him. I find joy as I remind my spirit that God is trustworthy and dependable.

I find comfort that God is in control. Even though I have joy doesn’t mean that you will see me upbeat and laughing at all times, no, sometimes I am sad and downhearted but I am full of hope that all will be alright and that is joy that is within me.

 

Its true that a heart has its own mind and its unstable

Today I have a good feeling in my soul, I see the beauty of Christ in life, and in the Bible

I am so happy to start this journey with my son, and tomorrow we're attending a course, Discipleship class, and I cant wait...exciting, we are blessed.

 

 

Help me Spirit of the Holy Bible, the Spirit of the Almighty to walk this journey with a joyous heart, be y strength everyday

 

 

 

 

 

I am aligned with great, Abba Father

 
Joy is the orientation of my heart. I align my heart with God’s strength and I find joy. I am so blessed that the Lord is giving me joy that is so deep within and it is my prayer that the Holy Spirit can help me that this joy does not leave me. Jesus is my joy. I am blessed , I wake up in the morning, healthy, I am blessed, I have food and other basic needs, I have joy, I know I have Jesus, I have found joy in my heart. Thank you Abba Father for this comforting feeling of joy.

Good Medicine

Proverbs 17:22 A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

You do have joy and that is real and a fact. Whether you can see it or not feel it or not it’s there. Do not let no one pinch and steal your joy, it’s your gift. Never allow mistakes and confusion in your mind, turn away from mix up muddled up misrepresentation of yourself or others to rob you of your joy. Refuse to let other people’s fear and anxiety pierce and penetrate you.

Nothing has such a direct tendency to ruin your health and waste out life as grief, anger, stress, anxiety, restlessness and bad tempers. All these work death.

But joy comes in the morning J
